When to use KALM
KALM is for teams past the basics: you’re not picking big binaries but dialing practices up or down. It produces nuanced backlog-style improvements — what to keep steady, try, reduce, or amplify.
Facilitator tips
- Define “Less” as volume or frequency, not “stop entirely” — that keeps it distinct from DAKI’s Drop.
- Ask for one Add that’s small enough to try next sprint; cap wild idea sprawl with voting.
- More and Keep should tie to outcomes (“more pairing on risky stories”) not vibes only.
